HOW TO CONNECT GABROVAC ROAD WITH MOKRANJCEVA STREET?

After a call to the City Municipality of Palilula earlier this year sen from the citizens tot Boban Džunić , the president of municipality, in order to take an active part in development priorities and investment in rural municipalities, citizens from the Mokranjceva street (Sava Tanić, Miodrag Petrović, Zoran Randjelovic, Dragan Bačanin, Slobodan Miladinovic, Bratislav Ilic, Nebojša Nikolic, Sasa Stefanovic and Slobodan Cvetanović ) requested the assistance from the municipality. They reported a perennial problem of regulation of road, the street that connects with Mokranjceva with Gabrovac road, a distance of about 400 meters. According to the people, this location had a path that is now impassable. Rearranging this stretch of road would allow easier linking of settlements in Gabrovac road, with the street Mokranjceva. Arranging of stock, street Mokranjčeva - continued to Gabrovac road is provided in the program of the land building  and a financial plan for 2012,  then in the 2013th,  and the program is in 2014 also. The inhabitants of this part of the municipality of Palilula, are concerned that the already approved construction plans and programs are not being realized.

"I am in direct contact with the citizens in the field- says the president of Municipality Boban Džunić. In this way we are realizing the needs and problems of residents, particularly those living on the periphery of Palilula. I advocate that the voice of the citizens of Palilula is heard in the institutions where decisions are made about the development of settlements, where the track and the curricula of Palilula has shown in the past with a high level of objectivity, humanity and determination to solve problems of all categories of the population.

Today I introduced our citizens with the fact that it is necessary to first check the property relations of the part of the road, and that they will then consider our community with a matter of urgency, our municipality will ask the relevant departments and institutions of the City of Nis, for the explanation and response to this request.

According to the President Džunić, members of the Council and the Administration regularly monitor the implementation of the program of development of the city of Nis for the current year, but in some areas of Palilula people express dissatisfaction with the pace and quality of work planned investment, particularly in the infrastructure and utility. Because of this, says Boban Džunić, we organized a working meeting with the heads of utilities (with management PUC "Naisus" PUC Department of City Construction…) in order to reach an agreement on the implementation of co-ordination and co-operation in investment activity on the territory of our Palilula. In suburban and rural areas of Palilula maintenance and construction of water supply, sewerage and road network are major problems. The problem that could affect the established deadlines and quality of work is insufficient synchronization of public companies when it comes to work at the same location. In this regard, we make a number of initiatives towards the City Council.
